Long day very sleep

The cat is MIA and sneezing.. I hope he is ok. Today I met Stewart the Owner of my cottage. He had to come in and take out the old electrical outlet cause it was melted. I woke up with a horrible headache from breathing in melting plastic all night. I guess they will be fixing it tomorrow... Oh I just remembered that my paper is probably waiting for me at the Art and Design office to pick up and see what horrible grade I got. I know it was grammatically horrible. I doubt I got a better than a B on it. Oh well. I have a critique in the morning and then off to the studio and then off to the party at Nancy's studio at night. It should be fun to hang out with the locals... hehehe. I miss my friends at school. I am bored alot, and I wish the sewing machine worked better as I would love to be working on my xmas project again tonight. I dont have the energy to unpack. I was supposed to clean the house today and unpack, but slept in and awoke to burning plastic smell and then had to get outta here cause it was so bad. Now I just want to play video games cause its nighttime again. I wish I had a couch! I need a frickin' couch.

Today and yesterday I sewed and fused plastic to make bags... its been alot of fun, and alot of hard work.. it takes over an hour to fuse enough plastic for just one bag and another hour or so to sew it!!! AAHhh we will see how many I have the patience to make.

Last night I got a hold of a Beverly Rainer piece of art. She's not super famous, but famous enough! It now has a home in my living room over the doorway! Im so excited. I put up more curtain last night and now I am in dire need of a couch! I got a free little bookshelf from the neighbor which is just about perfect. I should be at the foundary right now, but woke up late today and am just putzing around the house. Later I will have to go shopping (I dont like spending money but I have to eat dont i?). Maybe I will learn how to use my sewing machine today.

I haven't taken a shower in two days...AAAHHHH thats pretty bad. Oh well, Im gonna take one after I finish writing this. My friend and I talked until 1 am last night about moms. It was an interesting and intense conversation. I miss my mom, but dont want to call her. I think I will send her a xmas card. I stunk up the studio with my resin piece last night and need to go back so I can air out the room and put it in a box so it won't stink anymore. I think I will call my professor and tell him it has turned into a real problem. I woke up this morning and thought that this break will be over really fast, I am filling up my days with visiting people and unpacking. I still need a couch which really sucks, cause I have no idea how I will get it to my house without a truck. Most days I just want to watch tv and smoke and play video games, but I dont really have the luxary of doing that. I need to find out what Im bringing to the party also.

the toilet is running, Im surrounded by boxes and I need to unpack. Im sure there's alot of other things that I have to do, so many Im not sure what. Its the first day after school ended and I have a bunch of resin stuff in the car, that Im not sure what to do with. Maybe work on it tonight.

Today is pajama day!

So today ended up being pajama day with my cat. It rained and snowed in santa cruz. I played a game, did some business stuff on the phone and talked to my sis. I have one more day of classes left and then its the break. Glad I had a great weekend and looking forward to some time off. Hopefully I will make lots and lots of great artwork! I should go and get my knitting. Its time to get back into crochet for a while.

On photography

Well here I go again blogging about something in the middle of the night, while I can hear someone outside dragging trash cans around. What was I goingto say? Oh yea, why do I make images, since looking at flickr for all of 5 minutes its easy to see that all the images have been made. I am at a loss, as to why Im doing photo at all? I think I want to take other's images and create new images but I hate spending time on the computer. and if I dont print them is it copyright infringment? If it is posted on flickr is it considered public space? Can I use other's images to make my own? I wonder?
It finally rains agains. I just read some of my older blogs and am determined to write more over the course of my 40 days of artwork etc... I like being able to take a photo and journal about my day if only a few sentences.
